Need some affordable college credit? Here's some great reasons to consider the Western NY School of Real Estate if you're working toward an Associate's or Bachelor's degree...

->SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS OVER ALL STATE & PRIVATE COLLEGE TUITION'S

Most private and public colleges and universities charge $300-$800+ per credit hour
(undergraduate tuition) for their programs - our charge is nearly 70% less!  This
equates to more financial aid being available for your other "required" course work
and electives.  You earn 3-6 hrs of college credit for $300 - $650 (depending on whether
you choose three credits from the NYS Salesperson Qualifying Course or complete both
courses including the NYS Broker Qualifying Course).

        ->FLEXIBLE PROGRAM OFFERINGS & LOCATIONS

The NYS Salesperson Qualifying Course and NYS Broker Qualifying Course
are regularly offered at a number of our NYS Approved locations throughout Western
New York during the evening, day and weekend.  This means that our course(s) can often
be completed at a time & place convenient to your schedule.

->PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE THAT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY

Since most adults own their own home (or will at some point), the NYS Salesperson &
Broker Qualifying curriculum will give you an advantage over the typical home buyer (or
owner) who never completed this type of education.  You will learn the "inside information"
that all the real estate agents & brokers have including: how homes are valued, how to
determine if neighborhood values are in decline, stable or increasing, negotiating skills when
making an offer on a home considering the laws of agency, contract law as it applies to
real estate professionals, types of real estate interests and rights various homeowners have
(or could lose!), mortgage qualifying programs and requirements, how people actually
buy with no (or little) money down, fair housing & equal credit opportunity laws that must
be followed and new property disclosure requirements that affect anyone selling or buying
a home (regardless of whether you're working with a real estate agent or not). Important
information necessary to operate as a property manager is also included in the curriculum.

->INFORMATION ABOUT A CAREER IN CASE YOU MAKE A
           CHANGE IN THE FUTURE

Successfully completing the Salesperson or Broker Qualifying Programs will certainly qualify
you for a real estate license, however, since your results are good indefinitely [based on current
State regulations], you may decide 5 or 10 years from now that you want to consider a full or
part-time career as a real estate professional. By taking this program, you essentially learn
everything you need to know about the basics of a career as a real estate agent, property
manager, mortgage consultant, real estate appraiser, real estate consultant, commercial
practitioner home inspector and much more (without the need to quit a full-time job to find
out if you have an interest in the field). By simply completing the State application and
passing the 50 question Licensing exam (offered every Tuesday in downtown Buffalo), you
can have a real estate license within 30 days!

->WE DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU IN ORDER TO GET CREDIT AT YOUR
            MATRICULATED HOME COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY

Since each school is different in what's required and how it must be presented to grant you college
credit, we ask that you give us a call or complete the "College Credit Form"found on our web site.
Our admissions staff will review your application, contact your home school and work out the logistics
so you can earn up to 6 hrs of college credit toward your elective components in your degree program.

This must be worked out in advance with approval in writing from your home school so there is no
question that you will be guaranteed college credit after the successful completion of our course work. If
your degree granting school charges additional fees for this service (to be able to earn up to 6 hrs of credit
from our School, you will know in advance and then can make up your mind as to whether or not you want
to proceed). The maximum fee our past students were charged in order to earn credit through us is approx.
$120 (assuming your school even charges you for this).

        ->HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Our goal is to make this as simple as possible for you. Simply fill out the "College Credit Form", fax it
to us at (716) 639-8972 and we'll take care of the rest. You may also call us at (716) 639-7877 and talk to
one of our representatives before completing the form.  By simply completing the college credit form, you
are under no obligation. Once we get approval from your home school (in writing), you will get a call from
our admissions department advising you of the decision. We prefer to update you via email (if you have it)
so please be sure to complete the college credit form in it's entirety.

Once we receive your approval, you may then officially register for the course(s) at our School after paying
the appropriate fee ($195 for the NYS Salesperson Qualifying Course plus $105 administrative fee, and/or
($259 for the NYS Broker Qualifying Course plus $91 administrative fee). Total for each is $300 and $350.
No fees are due until we receive approval from your home school and you are ready to start at our School.
The approval from your home school is valid only 60 days.
